Brunette, thin, with a look in her eyes that says she is convinced about what she is doing.
Psychological aspects:
Valeria is a “spur-of-the-moment” kind of girl. Whatever happens, she looks for a solution. She is very good at giving advice, but rarely follows those she receives. She thinks so much, all the time, that she is a bit goofy, her head leading her feet without being really grounded. She is driven, and won’t stop till she gets what she wants.
Her history:
She studied to become a biologist, but as work was slow to come, she decided to invest her time in nutrition, which she fell in love with. She is so caught-up by her job, that she doesn’t find time for a companion, which is why she is single at 39. However, she has a ton of friends, and loving parents, which she spends a lot of time with, still. Her best friend is gay and their path led them to different cities in the past, together.

THE STORYLINE
A nutritionist participates in conventions and conferences, where she finds herself having to counsel industry leaders and chefs

Valeria is a nutritionist living in Southern Sicily, where she is writing a book on Sicilian products, that never seems to end.
​
When she sits down to write, in her long chair in front of the beach, she remembers her latest adventures, and starts writing them down.
​
As she recalls the stories, viewers get to relive it, as if it were “live.” In the end she goes to town and meets with friends, including Luca, her BFF.

Physical aspects:
Luca keeps himself in great shape, by going to the gym. He follows Valeria’s diet, that she made for him, without ever cheating. He dresses fashionably at all time, and always looks perfect.
Psychological aspects:
Luca is more obsessive than Valeria about himself. He will not go out if one of his hair is out of place. He enjoys being watched and he doesn’t care if they are men or women: All he wants is attention, because he trades love for physical relationships, which is the only thing he says he wants. But like everyone, he hopes to fall in love, again. He fights with Valeria all the time, saying she doesn’t take care of herself sufficiently, which viewers will find amusing.
His history:
Luca has spent a lot of time away from Sicily. Like many from the island, he ended-up missing the land too much, and so he came back. But the truth is, the end of his relationship with his lover in France, destroyed him and he needed to come “Home.” Now, he enjoys his simple life, taking care of the family B&Bs, and hanging out with his BFF Valeria.
